33-year-old chartered accountant from Telangana was found dead in a hotel room in Siddipet district, with police treating the case as an alleged suicide. According to the preliminary investigation, the deceased, who was employed with a private firm in Hyderabad, had reportedly been under severe financial stress arising from gambling-related losses.
Police stated that the individual had checked into a hotel in Siddipet and was later discovered unresponsive after hotel staff alerted authorities when repeated attempts to contact him failed. Officers entered the room and recovered a purported suicide note indicating that mounting financial losses linked to gambling influenced his decision.
Investigators also stated that the deceased had reportedly sold his flat in Hyderabad and had previously received financial support from family members in an effort to address his debts. The matter remains under investigation, and officials are continuing to examine all available evidence as part of the ongoing inquiry. CASansaar
