The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a one-time special opportunity for eligible CA Final pass candidates who had cleared the examination before the implementation of the New Scheme of Education effective from July 1, 2023, but could not obtain ICAI membership due to non-completion of the mandatory Advanced Information Technology Training (Adv. ITT) and/or Management & Communication Skills (MCS) Course.
Under this special measure approved by the ICAI Council, eligible candidates can now complete these mandatory learning requirements through the Digital Learning Hub (DLH) in a virtual mode, subject to the prescribed guidelines and conditions.
The Institute has informed that registrations for the Virtual Advanced ITT and Virtual MCS Courses commenced on August 1, 2026, through the Digital Learning Hub. The registration facility will remain available until June 30, 2027, providing candidates with an extended period to complete the required courses and become eligible to apply for ICAI membership.
ICAI has advised eligible candidates to review the detailed guidelines and eligibility conditions available in the official announcement before registering. The Institute has also provided dedicated helpdesk support for candidates requiring assistance regarding the Virtual MCS and Advanced ITT courses.
For complete details, candidates may refer to the official ICAI notification available on the Institute's website. CA Sansaar
